Overview:
The current Sach Pass status is closed from both Killar and Bairagarh sides. The road was declared open for vehicular traffic in the month of june for all kind of traffic movements. But is now closed for any movement in the last week of october 2024.
A check post has been set up at Bairagarh and no vehicles are allowed beyond that. From the Keylong side, the road is accessible only until Killar.

The road can open every year in the month oh june as well but it will depend on how fast the snow-clearing operation progresses and the amount of snow. Historically though, this road is cleared only after the 15th of May. Sometimes, if the snowfall continues, it can get delayed until June as well.
